Tactical Training Associates is announcing an Intermediate Tactical Carbine Course to be held in Morgan Hill. Cost is $200 for a nine hour day. Eight hours of training with an hour for lunch. This is the next step for a shooter with a basic understanding of the use and manipulation of a semi-automatic fighting carbine/rifle. This is NOT your average slow fire/target shooting course. This course is designed to get you proficient with a carbine you may rely on to defend your or your loved one's life.
This course includes work on the fundamentals learned in a basic carbine course and helps make running your rifle second nature. Level 1 Carbine or an approved equivilant is a pre-requisite. If you purchase a ticket and do not meet the pre-requisite, you will receive a refund MINUS $50.
We will work on increasing speed, engaging multiple targets, positional shooting, introduce un-conventional positional shooting, discuss cover/concealment, basic room clearing, introduce moving while shooting and working with a partner.
A quality semi-automatic fighting rifle or carbine with a sling and at least 3 magazines is required. 500 rounds of factory loaded ammunition is also required. CA compliant, featureless, or a RAW- all are welcome. A .22lr copy of a fighting rifle is acceptable for the course as long as it functions the same as it's big brother.
